1. It's a special day to draw people's attention to the environment.

这是引起人们对环境的注意的特殊日子。

attention 名词，“注意，留心”，主要用于短语中。

draw one's attention 意为“引起某人的注意”

He wants to draw his teacher's attention.

他想引起他老师的注意。

2. We should pick up that garbage! 

有人应该捡起这些垃圾!

pick up 动词短语，意为“拾起，捡起”，如果宾语是代词，应放于两词中间。例如：

He picked up a piece of paper and put it into the dustbin. 

他捡起一张纸把它放在垃圾箱里。

和pick up 结构相同的短语很多。

例如：put on（穿上），take off（脱掉），turn off（关上），turn on（打开），put away（收拾好），look up（查词、字），try on （试穿）等，代词作宾语时放中间，名词作宾语放中间放后均可。

3. Each student could clean up a bit of the school yard.  每个学生能清理一块儿校园。

each 形容词，每一的，后加单数名词。

each day 每天      each student 每个学生

a bit of 固定短语“一点儿，一些”，修饰不可数名词，相当于a little。但a little 后不加of。例如：

I know a bit of (a little) English. 我懂一点英语。

另外，a bit 修饰形容词或副词。例如：

It’s a bit cold today. 今天有点冷。
